Testimonies

Hi John,
I thought you might be interested to see how our two
gorgeous cats are going. They are the most delightful animals. Hugo, the male grey cat, is adorable. If he was any more relaxed, he would be on life support!! Porchia, is the opposite. She is in every  cupboard, chasing anything that moves, and keeps trying, successfully too, to get outside with the two dogs!!  No fear. I have sent a photo for you to
look at.  Mark and Stephanie.  P.S.  Steph's mum LOVES her new cat!

Hi John,

Well we all survived the first week and Hershey is completely and utterly adorable!! (Though Sachi's jury is still out at times...something to do with trying to use his bare leg as a climbing post I think :P ) She spent about 20 mins under a lounge chair when we first got home then was out with us and the doona in front of the TV. Everyday she becomes more and more confident and demanding - though she has quietened down from the first couple of days when she talked to us non stop. She now only calls when she wants us to come back and play/curl up with her..

She loves curling up and being on your lap while you are working on the computer and goes scatty as anything every night around 7pm with her toys, running full pelt into her hole of the dvds to turn around and poke her head back out... the rest of the night is spent on either chest under the doona with just her head sticking out.

We have got her a hot water bottle which is wrapped up in the top corner of the bed where she sleeps so we don't squash her with our tossing and turning but is close to our heads and often has a arm around her. She has grown a little since we got her - usually only notice it when she stretches out - but she has definitely become darker - especially around the points area.

She has full roam of the house though not excited with the bathrooms - probably because I bathed her!! - and waits by the door for you to come out...

Thank you so much for our beautiful girls and we will send some photos and an update with how she gets along with Rowdy.

From Naomi

Hi John and Alison,

Took Amos for his 2 year check up and Sally Ivers thanked me for introducing you to her....fancy that! She also said her two boys were beautiful but was really amazed at how "superb looking" Amos was. She said he was one of the best males she had seen!!!

Testament to good breeders.

Love Sue Muir

Hi Allison and John,

Well we have adopted Alfie for almost one year now. He has settled in well with our other two cats, Kaz the 12 yo ginger mog, and Jemma, almost Turkish Van.

Jemma and him play a lot, but when she has enough she will let him know.

Although normally curfewed he is allowed out in the morning.

He still likes to sleep in our bed, especially when he's cold, and sometimes snuggles with one or the other cats.

We really enjoy and love him and can't imagine life without him.

Please find attached photos.

Dear John,

Just wanted to say thank you for our beautiful babies Boris and Zoe.  They are the most beautiful cats and everyone who has met them loves them as much as we do.  They were desexed, microchipped and vaccinated last week and have made a complete recovery.  Just wanted to give you a update on how they are going. I have also attached a photo, its not the best photo as it was taken on a mobile camera but its something.  They have grown a lot since this photo also.

Thanks again!

Laura and Justin Rizza

Here are the photos of Sootica that I have finally managed to get on my desktop, thanks Nico. She is still growing and we have bought a great toy for her. We should call her Houdini because she manages to escape from the laundry where she is currently sleeping. Looks like we will be having her sleep with us again sooner than we had thought. She is quite a character and is starting to lie in wait for us and attacking us. She is very good and keeps her claws in. She loves cuddles and is learning german such as nein which is no and she gets a bit of that. Also like sleeping in the washing or clothes the children have left piled on beds.

Best of luck with your other little darlings.

Cheers Sonja

Hi John

She's delightful! And we are so very much in love with her.

She's been such an outgoing and friendly little girl and has, on the whole, been received well by the other animals.

Hugo (our one-eyed boy cat) is hissing at her but she is not disturbed by him in the least. She goes straight up to him - totally fearless and says hello. He hisses and she doesn't run.

Hugo will need some time and maybe some pharmaceuticals. But he'll be ok. I have no idea about his past but he's a bit maladaptive.

The dogs love her and she's been very outgoing and confident around them.

What a great girl!

I"ll send some more pics soon.

Thanks, John.

Jane & Family

UPDATE:

She's got this great game where she jumps up on the dogs bed and 'razzes' them (nibbles their ear, bites their tail or just punches them). They chase her around the house (not a very big house) and she runs from under the couch to under the telly to under the sideboard.....etc.

Minnie who had a very successful racing career finds this intolerable. It is the funniest thing. And the best bit is that when Lulu has had enough she just stops - in the middle of the floor - and plays with something else. She knows NO fear. Once the dogs get no attention from her they walk off and the game is over.

Needless to say she's brought us such a lot of joy - I'll send more pics when they come.

Cheers Jane

Hello John & Alison,

Just wanted to let you know little Hershey has settled in very well.  She is just gorgeous and so much fun to play with.  She has been brilliant using her litter tray from day one and learnt to come to her name in about 2 days.  She loves her play time and especially loves to snuggle up when she is ready for a rest.  She is also very good at letting us know when she thinks it’s her tea time.

Thank you so much for all you help and advice and especially for our little girl which we love.

Kind regards,

Alison Drew

I would recommend purchasing a Burmese cat from Alstav Burmese, we recently took our new brown little girl Winter home and she is an absolute delight, she is confident, outgoing and relaxed all in one. We were a bit concerned that she might have problems with our older Burmese cat but she managed to win him over in no time and he is a stubborn boy.   John was very informative, accommodating and very welcoming. John was more than happy to have us over and show us around the cat’s accommodation and allowed us to spend as much time with the cats as we pleased.

Winni is fully toilet trained, very healthy and has a beautiful puurrrrsonality.

Thank you again

Blair & Mark
